WildCraft Cider & Pantry Job Description

KITCHEN STAFF / TEAM MEMBER

Location: Yachats, Oregon (348 Highway 101 N)

Hours of Operation: Thursday through Monday, 12pm-7pm (8pm Fri-Sat)


Overview: WildCraft Cider Works has been operating in Eugene since 2014. We opened our Yachats tasting room in the fall of 2024. Made uniquely with natural processes, the cider is crafted in small batch from wild and rare fruit and fermented with no added yeasts, sugar, or sulfites, celebrating our Pacific Northwest seasonal variation and flux. Positions for this location are responsible for serving the busy coastal community of Yachats handcrafted cider from taps, locally sourced and carefully curated farm to table food items for dining service, and facilitating the sale of to-go bottles, cans, and fermented pantry items. 


Hours: Most positions are FT, 30-40 hours. May accommodate PT for the right candidates.

We are looking to hire a well rounded candidate with passion and enthusiasm for the mission of WildCraft and sharing that within the community. Ideal candidate would have prep and line cook experience, with an emphasis on adhering to safe food handling procedures and SOP execution. We foster a culture of equal participation, where FOH duties/customer service and education, bussing and dishwashing, and cleaning are expected of all.

Pay: $19/hour + equal tip share. 

Requirements: 

  • Food Handler’s card

  • OLCC certification 

  • Able to follow established procedures for excellent food and beverage service including opening and closing protocols 

  • Extensive prep, kitchen, and food service knowledge

  • Customer service and retail experience

  • Adhering to all food safety and cleanliness guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

  • Effective communication to staff and to management for all needs 

  • Experience with a point of sale system and proper cash handling

  • Familiarity with the ethos behind WildCraft Cider Works

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately communicating product knowledge to customers, addressing needs with expediency and efficiency

  • Properly executing recipes for prep and following guidelines set for food service execution

  • Taking initiative in working as a team as well as independently 

  • Multi-tasking and shifting gears at a moment’s notice

  • Ensuring that all work spaces are kept clean
